alright guys......89 civic dx....1.5L sohc
If the engine is warm and i start goin through gears and then push the clutch in and coast it surges 3-5 times......doesnt matter if im hammerin on it or takein it easy it still does it.......doesnt look good when u pull up to a stop light in the busiest part of town everyone stares!......also....it does not stall.....so if u guys know what it'll be tell me please.......i have and etest booked for friday!

 

make sure it is completely full of coolant - bleed air out of cooling system - check EACV

 

my car does the same thing at red lights. it surges steadily fom 750 down to 200 and back up. it goes away when i screw the idle adjust all the way in but now i have a whistle when i accelerate. it's annoying. anyways you might want check that.
