I hooked up my p28 tonight, and my car won't turn over. I get this weird buzzing clicking sound from under my driver side area. The motor turns, but won't start.
Any clue!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there any way of checking if it is? Like with the fuel pump or something?

if fuel pump is working you should here a sound from it.check to make sure your distributor is obd1 .and where is this buzzing comming from

 

My dizzy is working the motor turns over but doesn't start. YOu can hear the motor just about start but won't go. There is a loud buzzing sound under the driver side some where. I am not sure what it is, but I turn the key to get the engine light, and then the sound comes on. If I leave the key right before that I hear nothing.

 

check all of your grounds i had that problem when i forgot to hook up the groun wire thaqt bolts to the coolent neck

 

Ok, my main relay was making the noise. Its buzzing, I am guessing its dead, I read up and saw you can resoder the points and it should be oh so good again. I tryed this and it still buzz's, so I am guessing its shot.... I could be wrong. What does a main relay cost?

 

i got mine for $70.44 at my local Honda dealership.

 

Its a lose ground somewhere.

 

Idk how it could be a loose ground the car was working just fine before I got the p28, I don't have my obd1 pr3 no more because I am going to upgrade to hondata soon. So i got a good deal on a p28 got it setup for DOHC. Thats all I have done.
