Painting my headlights!
Hey! I drive a 97 Civic Coupe and I'm gonna be painting my headlights this Holiday weekend. My Civic is black and do you guys think that Gunmetal would look good on it? Or what other color do you recommend? ALso... think I should take the orange outta the lights while im at it? THanks for some opinions!
BTW: Please I dont want this to turn into a flaming post. No "PAINTING YOUR HEADLIGHTS IS CHEAP AND GAY". Who cares! No one wants to read it. I'm simply asking for an opinion on whether Gunmetal would look good on my Black car.

I'm using Charcoal Gunmetal Automotive RIM Paint... I sprayed it on some items and it looks AWESOME. The "Black Chrome" you are talking about could be accomplished using a TRANSPARENT Black paint. But I love how the Gunmetal looks so thats how I'm most likely gonna do it.
But anyone know if its illegal to take the Amber cap off the Turn Signal light?

personally, i kinda like the amber reflector. most people that DIY the headlights take out the amber so I think it'd be a nice change. Just depends on what you're looking for. I left the amber in my 99 headlights and it looks awesome
