hey everyone im tryin to "fix" my code's and my pr4 ecu says im throwin code 8 and 12. my question is about code 12, i've searched and i've found out only cali. std hatch's and auto d15 hatch's would throw code 12. so why would i be throwin code 12? this is what i got: a std. hatch (made in canada), with a pr4 ecu(integra), and a dohc zc. oh and the wiring was converted from dpfi.

sounds to me like your PR4 is for automatic transmission car - B18A in automatics have EGR valve (code 12) - what is number on the ECU?
37820-PR4-A0# - MT (except CA)
37820-PR4-L0# - MT (CA only)
37820-PR4-A5# - AT (except CA)
37820-PR4-L5# - AT (CA only)

 

i have 2 pr4 and i assume there both from ca. (where i got them) ecu in car:37820-pr4-a52 and another (that didnt match the #'s you listed) 37820-pr4-l10 can you tell me what the 2nd ecu is from?(will it throw code 12?)

 

if that is L10, it should be from 90 (CA) manual transmission - the A52 is from 90-91 Automatic

 

cool, and it is L10 so if i use that ecu i wont throw code 12? (no egr in mt ecu?) thanks for the help
