Even if they are pre-gapped you should always check them to make sure they are to specs. I have bought some in the past and were not gapped correctly so I took them back, and everyone he pulled was the same so I went with the copper plugs.

Always check them anyways to make sure they're set correctly.

Its better for start ups. Especially in the winter for some reason. And it takes and extra 2minutes and a 99 cent gap tool.
