Just go by the serial number of your car--It tells all.
Don't post your number here,lol-just get a manual,or check out a Honda dealer-they will tell you for sure.

hey you know what I meant also they are sunroofs not moonroofs. difference being that the sunroof is steel and the moonroof is glass.

I'm sorry can't pass this up
1st+2nd gen-I'll go with that-whatever anyone wants to call an opening roof,ok.I'll even go with the 3rd gen(not for the moon/sunroof part)becuase the Del sol is considered the 3rd gen CRX everywhere but here. Now as to the 4th gen Rex-not out yet --and I hope they never do,seeing what the new 06 civics are going to look like.

I kind of consider the Insight to be the fourth gen. CRX as it is so similarly shaped. Granted, it is no "sports car" but the shape is very close. The Del Sol isn't nearly the same shape as the CRX but hey, Japan and other places all call it the CR-X.

Ps- oops, didn't see the post right on top of mine, lol.

It's just a regular CRX, which is usually referred to as a "DX" even though it is not labeled as such. The CRX DX did have the 3-spoke steering wheel. It also had 13" wheels, whereas the Si came with 14s.

No USDM CRX Si was ever available without the sunroof.

Well you considered wrong then
While it is the closest looking vehicle to the Rex that Honda has put out-IT WAS NEVER going to be the next one.Someday they will bring it back(just hope it ain't in the '06 line-up)

In the 88-89 CRX are there any models with a sunroof that aren't an Si? I talked to someone on the phone about one and they told me it had a sunroof and I asked if it was an Si and they said no.

It's aftermarket.
There's a guy selling a dx crx right now that has a sunroof. He said it was installed by honda.

He may have bought my old roof (or one from the junkyard) and done the oposite of what I did.
