d-series mount incompatability??
I'm just kind of curious if anyone has run into this before.
I'm putting a d15b7 into a 88 crx hf. the d15b7 driv side mount will not physically fit into the crx chasis mount spot. so, i grabbed a driv side mount from my 89 civic dx sedan parts car (with stock d15b2 engine) and that mount does fit, but it will not line up with the d15b7 driv side engine mount bracket.
has anyone run into this? i figure i can swap the d15b2 driv side mount bracket onto the d15b7 and use the d15b2 driv side mount. i haven't tried it yet tho. anyone know if this will work?
and also, on the 89 civic dx sedan, the rear tranny mount that bolts onto the rear crossmember appears to be held on by only 2 bolts? anyone know anything about that?
thanks guys
*Edit: I know this sounds like im being lazy, but the civic sedan is outside and its raining out so before i go out and get soaked and take the driv side bracket off, i figured i'd ask
