I used the double sided tape that came on the caps and put used some screws to attach the backs (where the stock mldg had a 8mm nut) I haven't had aproblem yet
the double sided tape that comes with them is more than sturdy enough to hold the door cap. Just make sure you clean the surface of your door really well before sticking on and make sure you have the right gaps between the door cap and the fender and the door cap and the quarter panel. (i had and still have a hell of a time with fitament) When I had to take mine off one time It had been taped on there for a year or so and i could almost not pull that bastard off; that tape is sticky icky oooweee!

yeah i used 3M double sided "molding" tape to install my CF lip and trust me that thing aint goin no where. Its made to reattatch moldings to your car or something. Tape is sufficiant. Just make sure you get it on absolutely perfect the first time because once you get it stuck...its STUCK!

I should have mentioned, you may want some of the 3M Adhesive Remover (the liquid type, not the spray) to prep the surface. That stuff is fantastic for removing any grease, adhesive, tar or wax from a surface without damaging the paint. It's kind of expensive, but a can will last a long time and you'll find plenty of uses for it.
