Default Will a d16y7 fit in a 93 civic dx 4dr?

Duh it will bolt up...but will it fit in the trunk?

I got a motor an hour and a half away (for my hatch) but I don't have another vehicle...

Will this be possible? I've seen it done with hatches...

Bingo.

That actual trunk MIGHT be big enough, but the entrance space isn't.

For sure. We put a Z6 in the front of my hatch. Scraped-up some of my door-moldings and my center-console.... but it was well worth-it.

I'd bet it will fit in the trunk, opening and all. Not with a tranny attached, but a block/head will. If there's an intake manifold just remove it, you don't want a Y7 manifold anyhow.

Then take the intake manifold off and it should fit...take out the trunk mat and the spare tire for extra room...

I had trouble getting a b16 block(just the block) in my 96 coupe trunk. Wish I thought of that though. I think I bent my cardboard thing pretty bad too.

I would be scared having a motor up in the car with me (the front seat, that is).

Engine + Crash = DRIVER CRUSHZ0r!

No kidding! Hit the brakes hard and it would mangle your dash and glovebox. Maybe spark off your passenger airbag

it's funny that people think that you can set off an airbag just by hitting the dash. There's sensors tucked behind your front bumper
