does a '93 GS come with 5 3/4 inch speakers or 6 1/2?? Im puttin in new speakers and I need to know the size. Thanks!

 

my 92 LS [almost the same car] was able to accept 6 1/2" speakers no problem. there is a platic "cup" that holds the OEM speaker and it wasn't deep enough to get my Inifity speakers in there. I just cut the bowl part of it out and kept the ring with all the mounting holes. use a sharp knife and be careful.

for some reason I remember the rear speakers being a real PITA. my memory has some issues, but I seem to have broken a few razor blades cutting SOMETHING, but I don't remember what....damn. good luck!
