Default Vafc? ? ?

Im currently running a I/H/E in my 95 h23a1 Non-vtec. Would getting and correctly tuning a Vafc help with any real gains, or would they be pretty minimal?

search. it would help out prob about 5-10 ground hp with a good tuner, but it would be pointless to get a vfac with a non vtec motor. go with the sfac II

Why is it pointless? Yes the SAFC is better for a non vtec engine but most people ditch their H23 for a h22 vtec anyways so it would be good to have already.
Like you said you can still do air fuel adjustments with the VAFC just can't use the Vtec functions. The VAFC is more epensive generally than the SAFC though so if you don't mind buying another controller when you do a h22 swap go for it get the SAFC.
Personally I would get the VAFC if you plan on upgrading your motor later to a Vtec.

Yes, with tuning it will help.
