You might want to run carfax on it. I don't recall ever seeing a factory Black VX model before...

 

if it was in GOOD shape, id pay upto 3 grand, again if its in GOOD shape, which is hard to check out. on older engines, ya always wanna like do a engine flush, put in synthetic, and thatll tell ya if theres any leaks. also check for carbon build up, and the normal signs of abuse, like the color of the head.

 

offer 1500.. that motor has 200,000 miles which isnt nothing for a honda.. but i bet u plan on swappin it anyway so look at it like ur payin 1500 for the body

 

I decided not to buy it, don't really have time to look at it. He has all the maintenance records though and seems like a stand up guy from our conversations over the phone. He's asking 2200 and would probably take 2000 if anyone wants it PM me and I'll give you his number.

I was considering purchasing it for the 40 mpg moreso than the swap... at least for the time being.
