Default my new 1990 CRX si

Just wanted to share, I just bought a 1990 crx si with only 80k miles bone stock.

Heres the exterior

goofy exhaust pipe...

Interior shots

And the engine bay when I bought it

And the engine bay after a cleaning and tune up

The valve cover paint didnt feel like sticking around...

I have a lot planned for this car but for now its my daily driver since I broke my bank buying this.

Congrats on the CR-X Looks clean, just keep it that way ( exterior wise) and the rims. How much did you buy the CR-X for?

$2500, and I was originally going to put a kit on it til I saw this jdm front end conversion with a cf lip on passwordjdm .

I also think I'm going to ditch the rims for ls lace rims or something else that appeals to my eye.

Nice find with the low mileage, but whats up with the repaint after only 80k miles? I'd figure the original paint would still be mint if it was taken care of well...

The previous owner wanted it black, doesn't make much the difference to me. Plus low mileage doesn't change how old the car is.

do you know the previous owner? check for signs of front end collision. I see a white engine bay w/ black car. I also see over spray on the rad support. usually collision repair is done so quick you end up w/ this overspray.

other then that it looks really nice. hope you didnt get a macco job

No got the carfax report, no collisions its most likely a $189 maaco special cause it and the steering wheel came with the car, I don't like the brand its some grant GT racing wheel, but the smaller size of it adds to the go-kart feel of driving a crx so I don't know whether to start looking for a stock steering wheel or a nice smaller steering wheel. Does anyone know stock honda steering wheels that will fit a crx with a smaller diameter than the typical steering wheel?

You guys got any ideas on what color I should look into painting it. I was thinking keeping it black, going back to white, or a darker blue.
