should tie rod end have grease in the boot?
i picked up a tie rod end for my car today and when i press the boot, seems like its just air. i guess theres grease at the joint but not extra grease filling up the boot like the lower ball joints. theres no way to put grease in either, no nipple or anything. is this how its suppose to be?

These days, they don't put much grease in,
or grease zerts because they want to sell another one...
You can get lubrication needles with a grease fitting
which you can sometimes slip past the boot to relubricate..
Sometimes the boot has a small bleed hole also..
