Any suggestion on how to make nice, clean cuts in 3/16" ABS sheet???
I'm going to experiment w/ making some aero parts and I want make the cuts as clean as possible.
Also, does it bend easily w/ the application of heat?
thanks

Im assuming your using a template to make your parts, use a sharp scribe to well, scribe youe parts and they should snap off at your trim line. second question, it will bend but heat your palstics slowly and uniformly, and above all use templates and fixtures for you clean parts.
Depending on what kinda compound curves your doing theres several tools of the trade i've used. one includes an old twist top Crush Glass bottle i've used it to filled with cold water to push into and around bends. along with a heat gun, small micro torches. Alot to be said for bench grinder too. The band saw works really good especially if you can adj. the speed of the blade. I have a nice Battery oper. Makita jigsaw i use it to do most of my ruff cuts and some detail work. It only gets used on ABS and Carbon Fibre parts. its lite and easy to manuever around in a scrolling manor.

Sweet. Thanks for all the details.
I think I'll be picking up some fine blades for my handheld jigsaw and I'll take a peek at what Dremel has to offer for sanding/finishing bits.
I'm looking forward to experimenting w/ this stuff

use a straight edge and razor blade and score it then snap at the line for a nice cut, you have to becareful what you use cus abs melts pritty easy , and to bend it i use a heat gun on the low setting, works nicely,
