Default vafc alternatives?

Are there any? I have heard of the fields. Is it any good? Any others for a mild <300$ price range?

For under $300, Field is the best for your $$.

If you can afford a few bux more, get the VAFC. I've seen it for $330 online.

I prefer the field unit because it has a voltage limiter to keep you from
increasing the map voltage over what the max should be, in this case 2.8V.

The Apex does not do this.

If you go over the voltage, it will throw a code as the ECU thinks its seeing boost.

I still prefer the VAFC over the fields. It shows the engine's vacuum, throttle position, rpm, etc. It is kinda flashy though...which can be a bad thing.

You can find the VAFC for $300 shipped online.

Well, it doesnt think it sees boost, it thinks the map sensor is busted and then
goes into rich mode and disables the sensor until you cycle the power.
