Default This is what my neighbour did.




he was backing up with his Dodge caravan and his bumper went right on the top over my hood.
the car was in the gear and it moved about 1 yard back.
do you think there can be any transmission damage?
i test drove it after, seems like nothing happened, but at one point just right after when i got into the second gear it sounded like a tooth on the gear skipped or more like something related to the axle. further more it didnt occur.
so dissapointed at this point.

I'm sure it is. I have friends with CF hoods and they've stayed in great condition over the years.

you can get an estimate from a local autobody and go to the junkyard for your parts. then, you'll have some money left over.

tomorrow thats what i am gonna do.
ill go and get 2 printed estimates from different shops.
as for the tranny, i drove it and it seems like there is no damage.

Yeah man, neighbors can be real dicks sometimes. Over the summer my new neighbor put thumb tacs on the ramp part of his driveway because I used it to turn around and park in front of my house. That's some fucked up **** if you ask me.
