Default Compatible Shocks

Will any shocks from other hondas/acuras fit on a 92-95 civic coupe? I'm looking for shocks with more travel or shorter bodies for race springs. An example of what I mean is on my 89 crx I used to have 89 accord struts that gave me more strut travel.

Why, when there is much support for the EG suspension?

Dont see the need to do this. Why not just invest in an aftermarket setup?

Extra travel is beneficial with a slammed ride height. Most aftermarket shocks don't have shorter shock bodies. Whos to say I wouldn't be using aftermarket shocks anyway. The struts I used on my crx were aftermarket, and worked excellent offering a stiffer front end with lots of extra travel so bottoming out wasn't an issue.
