Default differences between 90 and 91 b18a...wheres year on block?

Well im not getting much help in the crx forum. I have a smog appointment monday and ur suppose to have the same year or newer motor in you car...well i have a 90 motor in my 91 si. No are they going to be able to determine the EXACT year? or by typing in a block numer are they going to get like a base of when that motor was built and thats it?

You should have a receipt that includes the VIN of the car in which the motor was taken out of. If you don't, it's not likely that you'll pass.
