vtec z6 head or vtev y8 head???????????
what should i go wit the z6 or y8 on my d15b1 i just want a little bit more powwer will it be goood or not muchhh cuz i can get the head for cheap later onn ill do the full swap with a nicer motor but for nowww will that give me little bit more funnn with vtec and alll current moDS apexi n1 hollowed catt, intake, nuttin big get back 2 mee plzzz thanks..
its in a 91 civic hatch standard like 80 hp lol yeh its only 1 wire from the o2 what ever that qould be obd1 imm not sureee but yehhhh whats going 2 give me the most juice with out swapping yettt ill doo that later thiz is only for now so i have VTEC
i've been told the z6 head has much better flow than the y8...
A few people on dseries.org have ask this question and got the same as i saying now...with the y8 head you get a bit more compression with its gsr like combustion chamber...they said that the splitter in the intake ports of the y8 head are on a slite angle reducing top end flow unlike the straight splitter found on the z6 head...
