NSX Design Team Uncovered
As my 'Net contribution to NSX History I've "uncovered" the Honda team that was directly responsible for NSX development. Quick backgroud: In my small amount of NSX literature, I noticed that in the NSX Performance Portfolio, on page 12, there is listed a six member "NSX core development" team. So I wondered "who are they?" One is easily recognizable as Shigeru Uehara. Information on the 'Net about them is sparse so I delved a little bit further in hard copy. Here is what I found:
Chief Development Engineer: Shigeru Uehara
Chassis Engineer: Keinosuke Taki
Exterior and Interior Design: Masahito Nakano
Engine Development: Shunzaburo Osaki
Suspension Development?: Toru Tsuda
Other notables that had some responsibility for the NSX's aluminium frame and body:
Mitsuo Hino
Yasuhiro Kangawa
Hideaki Hirai
FYI, The person responsible for the engine note: Ludger Schulte, Honda European design center in Offenbach. In addition, Shigeru Uehara and Masahito Nakano are also responsible for the development of the S2000.

Apparently somewhere there's a brief bio on each and a description of what they'd like to have done to the NSX in a perfect world (that should be interesting). I'll forward it once I get it.
