If so how much did it cost? How much should a quality paint job cost on all four peices? I'm going to start looking into prices around here. Anything I should know when I talk to them about estimates?

 

I got my rear pieces painted and installed for $100.

I got my front lip and rear peices painted for $75 and i installed them myself.

 

how close is frost white and taffeta white? Also, how good is the quality of the paint? How long has it been since you had it done? any chipping so far?

 

I had all 5 pieces painted for 300.

 

For a good job, $300 about right?

 

how much is a OEM kit? I tought they came painted already.

 

Just about $400. They do but, they don't have many colors. Last I heard they only had a few of the 98 colors. That leaves me SOL

 

Save yourself alot of money and do the painting yourself.........Dupli-Color makes factory colors....just sand the pieces to roughen them up, coat em with primer, spray your color on and then finish them with clear coat. It takes awhile, but works real nice.
