ITR tranny and OEM LSD how much whp before BOOM??

I tried to seach but could not find anything.

How much power can a stock USDM ITR tranny and LSD hold before it will let go?

I have not had any issues with mine but I only have used BFG drag radials with 401whp.

Any ideas??

HP isnt really the issue. Its the abuse it takes from the shock/impact of traction off the line.

Be ready for it to break any day now if you abuse it enuff.

Wheel hop will kill it quicker then **** at 401WHP. I would watch out

Depending what kind of driver/Launcher you are will depend how long it lasts. I've seen a couple 440+ cars running the stock lsd tranny and it's held through for a while from what they said. Danny (turbotyper) I think ran his stock lsd for a while with pushing over 440 on his first set up.
