I have a D16a6 and so far is runnig good but when i reach 4k rmp the rpm neddle goes back and foward but the car still run good.Can somebody tell me how to fix it?Thanx.

 

The jumpy tach is probably caused by your ignitor..

 

Ignitor...?BTW Id put a use distributor like a month ago if that help.

 

I had the same problem with my D16A6 before I dumped it. I replaced the whole distributor from a local auto parts store for about $165.00 and it fixed the problem. More than likely it is probably just the ignitor.

 

U think it would effect the performance of the car?

very greatly n00b. check spark plugs and wires. NGK only. don't do **** the cheap/stupid way.

 

chang igniter and plugs that should help
