Default The story of a lifetime and headache

Well, the Prelude runs again!!! Since made a thread saying that I had performed the 5 speed swap, I thought a little proof was neccesary. Since, i am a lowly tire and oil tech and have never done anything of this magnitude. It all started when my timing belt broke and bent valves in the head. i was some what frustrated with myself for not changing it but i was "busy" at the time. I decided that since i was going to replace the head, i might as well attempt the swap of the the tranny. i looked on the net(i love HT) and looked for the parts i would need. i then journeyed to the local Honda engine swap/junkyard for hondas man and obtained all my parts. Unfortunately some very critical things were left off the list. Check Thread for details. I finally got it all back together and the ************ wouldn't crank. I tried everything and finally broke down and took it to the Honda Man. Many THANKS Lamar. I musn't forget the one guy who taught me and helped me through this entire process. Kenny if you ever need anything, let me know. Lamar got the car running and i took it home. i thought some pics would be in order. I hope You don't get mad Satan SRV for the pics but i must tell the world my baby is running.
