The next thing i need for my car is a alarm. just recently there were four honda civics stolen in 8 hrs at my college and i need some type of security.

its a 92-95 vx. I will be doing the install myself also.

What kind of alarms are out there that work well with the civic and that have decent security.

 

Please dnt install it yourself. I would just pay a professional to do it. you will be much happier.

That's probaly the best bet. I've had an alarm for like 2 months now that i had planned to install myself, then I opened the box & crawled in my car, and said F this. It would take forever to do it myself. Now, i need to find someone that will install an alarm that wasn't purchased from them....It looks like a MAJOR PITA

i've done it, and i must say that it will take a while, and if you don't know electronics/how to read schematics, don't even think about it, sorry
