Default Maybe basic but i need to know

I'm planning on changing from conventional motor oil to sythetic.I know i need the filter for sythentic oil and the oil itself, but do I need to do a flush or something before I do this????

Nope, just fill 'er up and you're done.

Don't forget to put a new filter on.

also no sense in spending like $4 per quart on synthetic if your not going to use a good filter. IMO the factory oil filters are the best

I use just planold dino oil and a Purolater filter. Change every 2500-3000 miles, or after a track event.

That is the key!

5/30 syn. 10/30 syn. for forced fed..use a good filter..no particular one but stay away from the 98 cent specials...ive use syn. in my civic and 89 volvo..the volvo has over 300k on it..and neither car burns any oil
