This is for my 85 CRX Dx. And yes I checked http://www.redpepperracing.com and man nobody likes to answer questions there. Hard to find help there.
Okay I purchased the car knowing the low beams didn't work. I figure maybe just a blown fuse. Nope. I have the high beams on and the lights tilted down.
How do I trace the wiring? Does anybody have a diagram for it. Is there only 1 fuse for it? Is there any type of relay?
Also can anybody tell me where the PCV valve is?? I changed out the fuel filters today and I was hoping to change the PCV while I was at it but couldn't find it!!!
Thanks,
Shane

There is a manual available here:
http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/
That should have all the electrical diagrams. It'll also tell you where the pcv is, because I can't seem to remember on the old motors.

For Carbuerated correct? (hope so) Also is it visible or how do I get at it? Thanks.

So on my car if the low beam goes out it will still have high beam? Just curious. I know on my 98 Civic it was different bulbs so I never had this problem before.
Do you think it will work if i just hook up a voltmeter and test the wire connector? Getting ready to do it now any input..??

on carbuerated models it's in a hose that runs from the crankcase to the intake manifold. the hose that comes out of the valve cover right behind the oil cap.

Does it attach to a little black box (which appears to be another filter) on the intake housing (big circle thing)? Or is it in between them? I will double check.
I checked the headlights.
Left side
low beam .05 v all rest .00 v
high beam .02 v, 11.43 v
Right side
low beam .05 v .01 v
high beam .021 v, 11.43 v
Sound right to you guys??
I am going to check the ignitor right now and I am will see if I can find the pcv valve real quick.

i'm just looking at a pic in my manual and there is a hose that comes out of the valve cover directly behind the oil cap. they say to check it you get the engine up to temp and with some pliers gently squeeze the hose and if it clicks the pcv valve is working if not it needs to be replaced. it's a black hose just left of the timing belt cover and just right of the air filter housing.

Damn if I am thinking what I don't want to think... uh i was switching out the fuel filter and I had to detach that hose. when I detach it there was nothing in it!!! What do you think I should do I have a PCV valve I just don't know where it goes or which way it goes. Can you get any pics? or what page number in your manual??
it's a haynes manual. section 1-27. they should have one at autozone and be able to tell you the exact part #. it's normally just a plastic tube a couple of inches long. my camera battery is dead now so i'll get some pics up later.
