what does a map sensor do???

i've been trying to find an answer because i've been driving without one. will not having a map sensor cause a bad idle/vac leak??

umh i'm pretty sure your map senor is hooked up

I agree with Street dreams. Your car won't run with out the map sensor plugged in to the ECU. Good luck...
