What should i do to my integra?
I have been thinking to fix my 95 LS auto. I was thinking about a rims, paint, engine tranny, shocks. What should I do first?, I already have my system inside there. My last two steps is my engine and my tranny.
I will be painting my car midnight blue.
Write back and tell me. Thanks

well this is why he's going to do a 5spd swap.
i say do the 5spd swap first, i mean i have an auto now.. and it sucks. i have suspension and its only so fun.. trust me, get the conversion first and you're car will be more fun. IMO. then suspension, then wheel/tire's, and paint.
but again, its up to you and what you want. this is just what i'd do. i only did the suspension on my car because i bought an STi which is standard.. so i get my kicks out of that.. then i use my integra, for a daily driver. my sti is in for the winter.. but i take it out on good weather conditions. but anyways..

since you say you're doing the engine and tranny last.....id do the paint right before that and have them paint the engine bay while your stock engine and tranny is out.........so, i guess shocks, rims, paint, engine and tranny.

yeah i know they slow my car down a bit. the car being an auto isnt built for performance to begin with.. and get the hell out if ur not going to help bro.. seriously.

my DA is an auto...and I still manage to have some fun with it in the canyons and mountains of utah. a manual would be nicer, but this will do for now. plus, by next summer my new vehicle will be manual(and most likely a V8 with a blue oval).
i still say do suspension first, if you can find a good deal on swapping a manual in. keep the same motor and then rebuild and turbo it later...

[notice my sig, i'm biased]
I say definately suspension first. I bought wheels first but it was a good deal and they came with tires which I needed badly anyway. but suspension will be more of a payoff than motor/tranny. cuz let's face it: these things are slow, but damn fun around corners!

1st of all it's your car - do what you want.
If you want my advice i would either trade it for a 5 spd or get a manual conversion (PITA), then boost that badboy
If you keep it auto - ICE it out... get a nice deck with some TVs or somethin pimp

Auto= show
Manual= go
Just keep the STI for the power and keep the teg for show. If you have xtreme style just put in a body kit, chrome wheels, tv's, neons, etc. If you like a clean look(like me) juz put lips around, shave a few things off, carbon fiber hood, spoon rims and call it a day. We can only advise you on things, but we can't tell you what to do with your car. Best of luck

I'd give it a clean appearance... shave the emblems, keep it nice and waxed, fix every exterior flaw, and buy a nice set of lightweight 17's.
At that point, decide if you want looks or speed. Based on limited resources, going both isn't an option... you'll end up sacrificing one for the other. Notice the fastest hondas here usually look like ***, but move like stink... and the prettiest hondas here are mostly stock engine-wise.
If you want show... Get a badass paint job, buy bigger rims from the start, get TV's, speakers, and toys... Chrome out your engine (stock save for a CAI and headers) ...And try to find your own custom style in the midst of all these mass-produced aftermarket parts..
If you want speed... Swap in not only a 5-speed, but a turbo as well. You're not going fast anytime soon with that motor, unless you boost it. Get the appropriate turbo, FMIC, piping, pistons, rods, cams, clutch, fuel management, slicks, etc... and consider taking out every ounce of extra weight in the car.
As you can probably see... If you do only a little of both, you'll likely end up being very "average" in the car tuning world. If this is what you want, by all means... but I suggest you pick one ... cough speed cough cough.. and stick with it.
