i already have 2 1/4 in exhaust but ive still got the stock muffler on. im planning on getting an apexi n1 muffler off ebay but any other suggestions??

 

try getting a full catback like the apexi ws2 or the greddy sp2

A cambells soup can....... why do you want to change your muffler? You will not make power from it.

 

The Greddy Power Extreme and Greddy Evo aren't that loud, I would suggest them. I personally love the sound of the Apex-i N1 Dual Cannister muffler. The look is also very pleasing, as is the price for just a muffler, especially them name brand mufflers. For the money get the apex-i N1 knock-offs from ebay.

 

u wanna change the muffler to usually make it louder...so get a fireball because it looks the best

and there would only be a small difference between buying something like a evo2 exhaust and just having a custum one done with a muffler....the only difference is about 300 dollars...the same diameter for the piping of course

 

i'd personally go with a magnaflow so its got a nice tone, not too loud... but thats just my suggestion...

OH, we're talking street cars ... check out the RSR exhausts.

 

Well you have to ask yourself what you want out of your exhaust system? Do you want it loud, quiet, dont care just want a shiney muffler....ect... Does exhaust flow matter so much that youre willing to have the loudest fart in the city or do you want a moderation between free flow and sound?
'The better muffler' can change as your requirements are brought into the equation.

Please get a catback, EVO2's are nice. Mine has two resonators, stainless steel, mandrel bent and big *** muffler to quiet the exhaust down even more. DON'T just get a muffler, I understand it's more expensive, but you'd be doing a disservice to your car, and our import community as a whole. It will be loud, and you won't make any extra power. Say no to rice, even if it does feed millions of people a year.
