Ok, I need to smog the car, but I really want to put the skunk2 stg 1 cams in before then. I was told that the lobes were the same out of vtec, and it would make no difference for smog. Any suggestions...

I haven't gotten my car refed just yet. Something has come up and it might be a few months before I get around to taking my car to the ref. I wanna try to get it smogged and refed sometime next month, but I dont know if I'll have time. I will however, keep the cams and IM on and pray to the Honda gods that my car will pass.

 

I emailed skunk with this long email explaining it all, and those lame asses just emailed back with ...."50 states carb legal"

I need to know the out of vtec lobe sizes!!!

Because the more parts that I add the less chances I have to pass, or so it seems.
Cut open aibox, K&n filter, 64mm tb, S2 intake mani, S2 cams, dc header, carsound cat, and greddy exhaust. Thats alot of mods for REF!!!!!

Thought you were looking for some.
And yes the non vtec lobes are the same as oem gsr

 

The Skunk Stage 1 cams are CARB legal, you should have no problems passing smog with them installed. The cams come with a CARB EO# sticker.
