Default One more try(need help)

I just got my b18c gsr running again, i put ctr valve springs, spoon sports cams, buddy club cam gears, an-r header, aem hybrid series intake, vafc2(nothing messed with on settings yet), i had my head ported and polished, the head mating surface machined( a little over for a compression change), and a valve job, arp head studs, apexi world sport catback, skunk2 manifold, and about 10 more misc bolt ons. I started it, and im not throwing any codes, but the motor idles at 2,000, and then once it warms up, it goes from 1,000 to 2,000, 1,000 to 2,000 back forth, im not throwing a code, i have checked my vaccum lines, and had a ohms meter on the TPS and MAP, and they are both fine, i tightened my intake manifold bolts, cause i have the hondata gasket, and someone told me it could be leaking there, i cant figure this out, what do you guys think this could be. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Do you have the coolant blockoff in the Hondata gasket? I don't know if the blockoff prevents the coolant from getting up to the t/b, fitv, & iacv, but for sure those valves will not properly function if the coolant doesn't cycle through them.

well first off, a more descriptive title wouldn't hurt... especially if someone was searching for an idle issue such as yours. they would never find it. there's tons of info on idle issues.

did you install those mods all at once then it went to hell? did you buy the car as is. that's what sucks when diagnosing a problem, you throw on all that **** at the same time and your clueless to which one is the culprit

and my guess would be a vacuum leak? even a small one can flucuate your idle, have you tried spraying some carb cleaner around some of the sensors/seals?

I put the b18c in, then i took it back out, it already had the exhaust, intake manifold, i added the cams, cam gears, anr header, hondata gasket, aem intake, and the others listed, and i drilled the hole in the hondata gasket myself, so yes coolant is passing through, we tried carb cleaner on a couple sensors, and around the intake manifold, im about to go work on it now, and try to figure it out, any suggestions are welcome. thanks

have you tried disconnecting the iacv when the motor is running? see what happens. search iacv, it's been the cause of flucuating idles for lots of people including me.
