Default Crower Stage 1 cams (H23)

As of now I have I/H/E and test pipe as far as performance (also have suspension work, motor mount inserts, etc...)

I'm the type of guy who does all the work himself and am looking to start fooling around with my engine. I don't want to go extreme right away so i'm thinking about starting with some cams. How beneficial are the Crower stage 1 cams and does anyone have any opinions on them? Its a stock H23 and i will not be replacing springs/retainers etc... as of now. I assume this isn't a problem with stage 1.

I'm mostly looking for opinions and whether or not its worth it to fool with stage 1 cams in my case. Any and all help appreciated.
