how many degrees will a thick head gasket throw off cam timing?
From what I've read, about every 0.012" (0.3048 mm) you mill the head, it will retard the timing 1 degree. So figure out how much thicker the HG is than stock, and it will be the opposite, for every 0.012" it's thicker, it will be advanced 1 degree. I'm not sure if this is just for B series though.

im guessing it will be similar.
this puts me at about 5 or 6 degrees that my timing is advanced.
Thanks GeeReg. are you pretty sure that milling retards and thicker HG advances?
