Default single butterfly IM good for h22a?

Has anyone seen good gains with a single butterfly IM like the skunk 2 setup? (this is for a 1994 jdm h22a motor)

the 2 stage im is good because it allows you to gain some torque down low and then up high it opens up all the way.

elaborate as far as what? Im just curious if it would be better to take the OEM IM and TB and have them port matched... or to buy a aftermarket spoon or str TB and like a skunk 2 IM.

Do you want top-end, mid-range or low-end? Are you using forced induction? What head work do you have done? Where do you want to make power? It's not a yes or no type of thing...

I believe the Skunk2 makes more power waaayyy up top, whereas manifolds like the STR or Venom are for turbo.

the skunk has no room for play against the firewall.

the motor is going into an EG. But I want top end. As the motor will be roughly 12.0 comp. and Ima run all Crower components.

This has been covered a few times
Just search the archives there are a bunch of threads on the skunk2 intake manifold.
Your search for skunk2 returned 36 results.

and lilfab, go easy with the newb flaming buddy. especially considering the fact that you aren't smart yourself. Get your facts straight. You asked him why he'd want an h22 in a hatch and gave him a thumbsdown for that setup......are you serious? maybe YOU should start searching and try to actually learn something dumbass
