Default My guage needles dont light up!?

OK heres my problem. I just did a cluster swap into my 95 CX hatch, using either an LX or EX manual cluster (not sure...it has a 6500 redline). Everything went smoothly, I swapped my speedo to retain original mileage, and all the guages work fine. However, at night time when the lights are on, the needles dont light up, which makes it very hard to see their positions. I can't seem to remember if the needles on my old cluster lit up or not.

Is something wrong with my cluster/bulbs or is that just the way it is?

In my EK, the needles do not light up. I don't think they light up in the USDM EG clusters either.

They look lit (on EG's) because the EG clusters have O rings around them that shine the light onto them from all sides. Thats why you don't need to paint the needles orange when you do the amber cluster, because the orange light makes the needles look orange...

Pretty ****** dope eh?

Well mine sure as hell dont light up as well as the ones you show. Are there dedicated lights for the "rings" around the guages? Maybe mine are burned out.
