What bike???
Iam looking into starting a new hobby, i want to start riding bikes. Iam stuck between these two bikes:
00-03 CBR600RR
00-03 GSX-R 600
which one in your opinion would be the better buy? Iam lookin for something that will have a good amount of power and still be easy to drive.. Also, does anyone know the red-line on the gsx-r 600 and the 600RR??

Neither one of those bikes are good for you. Please read the sticky on the top of the page. Motorcycling may be a "hobby" but its a dangerous hobby and not something you should jump into just because you think its cool. Get something older thats not so quick and it wouldnt be the end of the world if you dropped it. You will drop your bike or have close calls when learning. I almost dropped my **** in a parking lot because i had to itch my *****
Luckily I ride a light *** fz600 and was able to save it. Take the msf and ride it around for a few months, then if you still have the passion upgrade to something nicer.

Have you ever ridden a Honda 599 or a Suzuki SV650? Those are REALLY fast and a SuperSport 600cc is SCAREY fast.
I started off on a CBR900RR and I wouldn't recommend that for anyone. And I've almost killed myself about a dozen times on my R6. I've almost flipped it a couple of times and almost ran head on into to cars turning left (my bad 'cause on both occasions, I turned out of a corner and accelerated too fast for the drivers to notice I was even there.)
Damn... that was a lot of 'almosts'.
Just be careful.
