Road rash owns. Some stupid B!T@%, talking on her cell phone, changed lanes right into to me. It happend fast while taking a turn. I layed down the bike. The bike is ok. Here are some picks of the road rash.

Damn, that's why you have to wear the gear always. It's look s like you were wearing shorts too. You never know whats gonna happen on the road. Damn cagers!

Maybe now is a good time to invest in some gear. Could have been alot worse man. Heal up quick

youve never got scraped up with gear on? i have . anyway damn that looks bad man . i know how much that **** hurts and my spills werent even close to 1/2 as bad as that.

 

From looking at those pictures... having worn proper gear, you would've probably just needed a couple of band-aids.

You're hands most likely would've been fine with gloves.
You're arms, shoulder, and back would've been protected with some leather.
You're calve's might've been alright with some Levi's.

Nice... love people that ride responsibly.... which includes wearing gear. either that or you must have been riding so fast that the asphalte ground all the way thru the layers of protective material and still had enough heat to melt your epidermis. In addition, part of experienced riding, is seeing a situation before it developes and becomes problimatic, good judgement there. On the other side of it, sorry to hear that another biker went down, those burns will heal... unfortunately, your bike won't

becuase motorcycle gear is specificlly designed to protect against exactly what happened there. if he was wearing gear i take it back, and i would like know what products he was using so we can all steer clear.

i have never seen someone go down with gear on and get even a fraction of the amount of road rash he has, but hell i been wrong before.

 

Does anybody of pictures of their gear after a wreck? I've always been curious as to how they wear.

Every biker i have ever met has at least once not worn gear, so hop off the pedestal. Do you tell a girl that just got raped walking home alone

Better get training wheels for the next scooter... whats the piont of posting up that you just got owned by the large flat motionless black area where all the big metal boxes roam? Sympathy? Seeing traffic patterns develope even before you are involved is the biggest factor in riders being either hit or... going down. Sure I have gone down, I have gone down many times, and usually at high to very high speeds, but you know what? I always had several mills of thickness in some cows fat *** on my body to keep me from getting the corn flakes... and I have never been down in the city, does not mean it won't happen, but it has not as yet (knocking very hard on a large piece of wood). This "sense" of traffic or dangerous situations can not always easily be taught, it is a skill and sixth sense, a common sense. The highest danger point in a riders timeline on a motorcycle is when that rider has become competent and skillful, that is the time at which they take chances or put themselves into high risk enviornments

thanks everyone.... I dont think anyone was being a dick head.

I should have been wearing gear and I was not. I was wearing gloves, one was riped off when I hit the ground. I should take some picks of my helmet.
