Short Shifter
the install of the short shifter isnt all that complex, but can get a tad annoying if u dont do it right (kinda obvious, but people seem to get in a jam).... The basic install includes removing your center console, unbolting the exhaust pipe directly below the shift linkage(right at the cat), unbolting the shifter from the shift linkage under the car, as well as unbolting the shifter inside the car. It is key to make sure u dont rip any of the boots or loose any of the bolts or washers. Make sure u use plenty of white lithium grease (any hardware/auto store) on the ball joint of the shifter once installed, for smooth shifting. Just take it apart and make sure to unbolt the cat for easy access. Obviously, the car has to be on jackstand or on a lift for this install. Make sure u dont get some retarded ebay knock off or u will snap the shifter in half, and thats no fun..
You dont need to take off the center console or unbolt the cats.
For the exhaust, I just took the hangers off the rubber things that they hang off of. That gave me enough room

agreed, when i switched I didnt like it, but I got used to it, but I also got bushings, so maybe the bushings just needed ot be broken in.
