after you get all your wire colors down, start your bench work.

Lay out the brain, plug in the harnesses. Depending on the location of the mount for the alarm module, cut back any unneeded wires, and zip tie or electrical tape your wires going to the ignition harness etc.

this will help in making a clean installation. also, soldier any 12v and ground wires together at the brain, then proceed with the install.

Pretty simple to install, just need to have a bit writer to make programming easy and put alot of time into making it look clean. I hate wires...

oh, and if you take pics or plan on running anything into the fuse box, i will shoot you.

so all the wires u have to solder is the 12volts and the ground? i watched that remote start installation video on bulldog.com and they say not to solder, crimp, or clamp any wires. they just tap into it and tape it up.

I will use the ign. harness as an example, if you follow the harness from the ign. switch, down and over to the fuse box, [it will split into 2 or more harnesses] that end in plugs that plug into the fuse box or into other plugs around fuse box, if you unplug them it will be easy to see how to depin them, [remove the metal termenal out of the plastic plug, (one at a time)] then, [what I do] "open" one of the "clamps" that is wrapped around the insulation of the wire at the "top" of the term. use the "clamp" to hold the starter wire to the side of the term. then solder, be carefull not to interfear with the area on the term. that holds the term. into the plastic plug, on smaller term, [low current like doortrigger or doorlocks] you don't need to "clamp" just solder to the metal term. I hope this helps 94
