Default 92 cx hatch worth it?

my friend found a 92 cx hatch at the carmax he is working at and can get it for about $1,200. the car has no visable problems, exterior is clean and interior is in good condition, drives good, it has like 170 k on the motor tho(which im planning to swap out anyways).....so does this sound like a good deal?

Yeah, that's an awesome deal, if everything is how it sounds. I paid $1500 for mine and it was a steal.

I got my cx about 4 months ago for 950! It has/(had) 201K on it when i got it and about 2 weeks ago the old engine fried a ring. I still got a steal on the car and the d-series engines are mega cheap! i'd say buy it up man!

hell yeah thats a good deal, i searched for months for one down here in orlando and couldnt find one that reasonable.... i ended up settling for a 4dr...only $300 and it was driveable, no holes or rust or anything...that guy just had to move in 2days, had 2cars and was by his self so it was a must sell for him

i <3 my 4dr.

but yeah 1200 is a very good deal for the cx, i say get it

****, yeah thats a really good deal, providing everything is in good condition. milage is nearly irrelevant when swapping anyways. just make sure the undercarriage and **** isnt rusted to crap before you start investing more money into it!

it sounds like a good deal to me.

but you need to ask yourself, "is it worth $1200 to me?" if it is, then buy it.
