There are four rectangular knockouts on my center console right above the parking brake handle. Each knockout is about 1" by 2". What are they for? My guess is that factory option switches can go there. If true, switches for what?

i dont think anything was there from the factory but i cut it out for toggle swtiches to run amps and neons

 

You cut them out? you know they pop out from behind right?

In older overseas Hondas, the switches for the parallel parking guide pole accessory and the power radio antenna went there.

no i cut a hole in them and popped them back in for my toggles

its so they can see where there bumper is since there are such tight parking spaces in japan

 

I installed the aftermarket switches for my SPAL power windows in those spots. They were a perfect fit with no modding of the switch or the hole.

 

i would put swtiches there.. the guy i bought my car from has these stupid switches right behind the shifter.. its stupid
