mechanical oil pressure gauge, anyone have one?
I was just wondering for those who have them, do you have any problems? I was wondering because the capillary that has oil going all the way to the gauge seems very unsafe.. i.e. if anything were to happen to the line, like if it got too hot it might burst and/or leak? Anyone have problems with leaking? I would like to know before I buy a mechanical one.
Or should I just get electric?

lots of people use mechanical oil pressure gauges with no problems. you just need to use the proper line to feed the gauge.
usually they give you a cheap nylon plastic line to feed the gauge. throw that away and get a nice high pressure braided line and it will never give you a problem and it will me more accurate than a electrical pressure gauge.
