Default Anyone have HID's for high beam and low beam?

I'm looking for some pics of the install and of the light output from HID high beams. I found some threads on this, but they were all old and the links to the pics no longer work.

Josh (username itrsport.com) does. And they're awesome.

You'll find some descriptive stuff and a few photos (most have bad links ) on his website. Click on Modifications, then on Current Modifications.

Thanks Ken. All the links work - even though the thumbnails are not showing up. I'll fix that eventually.

I was thinking of getting some for my highbeams, but im losing my passengerside highbeam so it would kinda be pointless.

Oops, nevermind.

So could someone break down a list of EVERYTHING that would need to be ordered for a high/low 'kit?'

I do have one question regarding this setup, Have you checked the abs system to see if it's getting too hot cause it's all blocked in and unable to ventilate?

It's not a problem. The abs makes hardly any heat compared to the heat radiated by the engine.

My roommate did it with his OBD-1 GS-R using the Catz HID kits. The only difference is in the bulbs. You use D2R for reflectors, D2S for projectors, and then the appropriate headlight socket (ie: 9006 or 9005).

He also installed HID's into the OEM fog lamp housings.

The only hard part is mouting the ballast and ignitor (if separate) when you have 4 or more total boxes to safely and securely place in the engine bay.

<--- Bi-Xenon HIDs from a BMW in his Integra

If i ever find a good deal on S2000 projectors , i'd like to put them in the high beam with cutoff shrouds removed

that would be like the light of God

Three sets of HID's?? That's crazy. Any pictures of this?

Regarding the ballast mounting, the best place to mount these is behind the fenders, and/or against the bumper reinforcement bar. Most people don't do this because you have to remove your bumper/fenders to do this, but it's the most secure/cleanest way.

PatrickGSR94 did a good job with this: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=865346
