What company makes a really nice HID kit for my 01 R, and where can they be found?

Yea, I was sort of leaniong towards Phillips. All I hear is good things about their kits. What should I expect to pay, and do you have any pics?

I ordered that kit(8000K) and just waiting to install it. I believe the light color is blueish/purple; which some peeps don't care for. Anyway, I will be posting a review with pics in a day or two once I install them.

I think Catz it the most well put together, quality kit I've seen. Too bad no one sells them in the US anymore.

However, I use the old school Visual Dynamics Philips kit that was out before the Catz kits were.

I thought I knew about the differences between models, but what does it mean when one is 9006, or H1. When K is smaller the brighter or visa versa?

Thanks

Like I said in the other recent hid thread, if someone knows of a good high/low beam kit I'm on it!

I realize even the low is sweet, but I drive out in the dark *** country all the time and roo's like to play chicken. I just want to be able to blaze my highs to illuminate the side of the road a bit, gives ya that extra milli-second to react. The roads are setup so that you can see people coming from a good ways so blinding people is a non issue.

I've got the Phillips 4300K kit from Visual Dynamics in my car.

You can meet up and check them out in person sometime if you'd like.

I'm assuming you guys are just doing the low beams, and that your low beam conversions do not have a high-beam filament.

Is that right?

Yes, that is correct. However, PatrickGSR94 has done an E55 bi-xenon retrofit into his Integra which has the high/low beam solenoid built into each projector.
