ok im stumped still.....alright the vehicle is a 90 wagon. has a d15 block w/a6 head/z6 manifold. there has been a hesitation when giving gas from a stop. i have changes air filter/spark plugs/fuel filter etc. havent gotten to dist cap or rotor but it still does it. there is a plug on the manifold missing, not sure if its the map sensor or tps. but would that be causing it? this plug sits on top of the tb. just trying to figure it out

 

Well if was the TPS you wouldn't really go anywhere at all and the MAP I believe you would also have some issues. Maybe you have a vacuum leak on your manifold.

 

of you gotta pic it would help plus how did you do your mpfi conversion?
maybe something there...just a guess but cam timing or a vac leak like mentioned earlier

 

Does it hesitate when you accelerate just from stop? What about when you accelerate and switch from gear to gear? If it stutters there too, then I'd highly recommend having your igniter replaced.
