Default H&R springs- 2 vs. 4 door EG

H&R lists different part #s for EG coupe & sedan, they even specify everywhere that they are not interchangeable- anybody know what the difference is? Guessing rates, but front stiffer/softer, rear...? I'm planning on calling H&R when I get a second, but got a bad feeling they will give me a hard time seeing as how that type of thing is probably 'proprietary bla bla...'

anyone know so I can forego the corporate bullshit? thx

i'm guessing that the wieght distribution is a bit different btwn the sedan and coupe. if you put sedan springs on a coupe, the rear might sit a bit higher... or something to that effect...

the sedan is probably heavier so it needs a higher spring rate the ride quality will probably be decreased compared to if you bought the right springs with the specified spring rate
