Being that the vx cat is up towards the front IE:header: and the si/ex's are underneath. im putting a Z6 motor in place of the VX, and i have the stock header for it. But i can i use my vx cat with the Z6 ?

 

Yes you can. 92-95 Civic Headers are interchangeable. Just re-use your VX piping.

Anybody else is encouraged to correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty positive about it.

thats what i was thinking to it just threw me off being in different locations i wasnt sure if they were different lengths.

You'll have to use the whole thing. I don't think any other header will work with jus tthe VX cat. The VX header/cat combo was built so it would be right on top. It's restrictive as hell but maybe you could find an EX exhaust mani for cheap and re-do the whole piping to EX/Si.
