i have a quick question guys. i have a 2003 rsx-s. and my question is, can i put a 05 rsx headlight on my 03 rsx? and if i can, how much would the conversion cost me? thanx guys/gals

 

I'm not quite sure about this, but I do know you'd also have to convert your front bumper, that's for sure. Don't really know what else would apply.

 

yup, you'll have to put on the 05 bumper. otherwise....it "should" fit.

I would imagine it would be just a bumper replacement. Because from all the info I've read at work it's indicated that the front and rear bumpers and lights are the only major exterior changes (save the rims, but that really doesn't matter).

We've only sold one '05 so far (our sales dept. sucks) and we've yet to see any '05s for anything other than PDI's. So to be honest i really don't have that much hands on for the '05, but from what I know it should be just lights and bumper (possibly bracketry for the headlights too, not sure).

Personally I like the older headlights, with the dips on the bottom. Kinda different than most cars. I saw some at the dealership when I was looking at new cars and liked the older ones better.

 

so for example if i were to remove the 03 bumper(without headlights on)and stick the 05 bumper to see if it would fit, would if be a perfect fit? since they didnt do any major changes to the body?or would i have to install brackets? nd how about the headlights. can i juss take out the old ones and install 05's? nd is there any new wires on the new ones also because there hid's? thanx

 

the bumper should fit on with your 03 headlights off.

the 03 and 05 headlights are different shapes. they won't fit unless you have the matching bumper on.

05's are NOT HID

IMO it would look funny. The styling of an 05 is different that the 02-04. An 05 front bumper on an 03 RSX probably wont flow well with the lines of the car.
